4/23/1906 Philadelphia, Pennsylvania [unconfirmed] 2 Master Victor 16104 10-in. EDVR vol. II notes: The Haydn (Hayden) Quartet version was used on 16104 until replaced by a new recording of the same selection by the Peerless Quartet, recorded 10/29/1918 (B-22298-2). However, both general alphabetical and numerical catalogs, and thus presumably the record labels, continued to credit the Hayden Quartet as the artists through 1925, when the record was deleted.
