Notes: The Komzák family produced several generations of noted musicians, and at least three bore the same name, Karl/Karel/Carl. Karl Komzák, the grandson born in Innsbruck, Austria, was a composer, choirmaster, and orchestra conductor. He conducted orchestras that accompanied silent films.
