EDVR vol. 2: The Haydn (Hayden) Quartet version was used on 16105 until replaced by a new recording of the same selection by the Peerless Quartet, recorded 10/29/1918 (B-22299-2). However, both general and alphabetical catalogs, and thus presumably the record labels, continued to credit the Hayden Quartet as the artists through 1925, when the record was dropped from the catalogs.
Also recorded as [PM-]87, [PM-]3178, and B-22299.
EDVR vol. 2 lists take date for takes 6 and 7 as 3/17/1905 and for takes 8-10 as 3/8/1906. Take 5 issue from collector report.
EDVR vol. 2 lists take place for Takes 11 - 13 as Camden.
