EDVR vol. 2 notes: Take 1 was a solo, planned for release as 88046 but not approved. On 10/5/1907, two more attempts were made to record the song, this time with Evan Williams singing the tenor part (on C-4859). Again, these failed to get approval, and a new attempt was made as a solo. The new recording should have been C-4211-2, but in error it was given no. C-4859-3 (see C-4859[1]) and a new catalog no. (88102).
