Laird: "In relation to 'Spanish Shawl' the Brunswick sheet states: 'This selection was remade by The Ambassadors under Ray Miller's name.' The original session by Miller was held on November 9, 1925, and apparently his orchestra was not available for the remake. The Brunswick sheet also carries the notation' 'For rest of this date see Vocalion book nos. E1816-7-8W."
