Laird: "This earliest Brunswick recording made in Chicago was taken by a mobile unit on the way back from a Los Angeles field expedition (via San Francisco and Seattle, Washington). Only this single selection was allocated a matrix number; however there were almost certainly other recordings made at this time but not accepted for issue. No further details are known."
