Ruppli session personnel note: Buddy Holly (vocals, guitar), with Sonny Curtis (fiddle), Bob Montgomery (vocals, guitar), probably Don Guess (steel guitar), probably Larry Welborn (bass). Guitar, drums arranged by Norman Petty overdubbed on.
The master number and take place represents Norman Petty overdubbing additional instruments. The original masters were recorded in 1954 or 1955 at radio station KDAV in Lubbock, Texas. The recording date is when master numbers were assigned in New York City by Decca Records.
