This master derives from an instantaneous disc recorded in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Victor ledgers available to the ADP list only a re-recording of the master. It was made in Victor's Studio 2 in New York, New York on 6/12/1942.
Description is not confirmed. It is possible that a vocal ensemble performs with José Monero.
Frank Madera's band also recorded "Pobre jibarito" under instantaneous disc PR-12; dub BS-045885 was made from PR-12 on 12/26/1939, but it is not known if there are issues deriving from it.
