| Victor ledgers note, 10/24/1917: "Banda—Booked 8 AM. At 9:00 AM Cuartel telephoned Lab. saying band could not come until 2 PM. Seven men missing. Again had to hold up lunched [sic]." "Banda—Booked 2 PM. Cannot come on account of twelve men missing. Tomorrow morning certain 8 AM." It is not known whether these notes refer to engagement of the Banda del Batallon Marañon No. 4 or another ensemble. |

Re-placed them. About to make another test. 10:45 A.M. Telephone message arrived directing band to go aboard vessel in harbor. Fine business. Will play until 6 P.M. Band concert this night. In lab. 15 min." |
