Victor ledgers state, "Recorded over direct wire from Paramount Studios thru NBC" and note Victor's Studio 1 in New York City as where the masters were cut. Crawford recorded his radio series of 1931 in the Paramount Theatre. It is likely, but not confirmed, that the Paramount studios referenced in the ledgers were the theater.
