Victor ledgers: "Records made for C. H. Clark of the Exhibition Dept." The recording is believed to have been intended to promote an RCA marine radio at the Century of Progress International Exposition (the 1933-34 Chicago World's Fair).
It is not known from which take the dubs derive.
Ledgers: "Special records (for personal use only)," indicating that the master recording was made on commission or not intended for release.
