Notes
Ledgers (takes 1R-4R): "Records made with cut off groove at 9 7/8 with special tool as per instructions from A. Hewitt and Al Pulley. Ledgers (takes 5R-6R): "Records made with cut off groove at 9 7/8 .030 deep with special tool as per instructions from Mr. A. Pulley.
Ledgers state that dubs are recorded from 78-rpm to 78-rpm. The status for takes 2R and 4R are difficult to read on the Victor blue history card; they appear to be either held or not processed.
Victor ledgers: "Blue Bird series"; "Messrs. R. Peer and E. Oberstein present." Handwritten note in ledgers states that 3R destroyed and 5R equals master.
It is assumed that some issues derive from dubs made on 6/19/1933, 6/22/1933, or 8/10/1933, but it is not clear in Victor documents which dubs were issued.
