EDVR vol. 2 notes: "Albert Borroff made three recordings for Victor—namely, Ernani: Infelice e tu credevi (cat. #2620); The stein song (Bullard) (2621); and Three fishers (Hullah) (2622). We have never been able to locate the matrix listings for the first two. Incidentally, an Albert Borroff, cantor, made trial recordings for Victor on 1/22/1925." A Larry Holdridge auction catalog states that this singer and the cantor who made trial recordings in 1925 are the same individual.
