Oct. 1898 Gramophone catalog: “This is a very amusing record by two country soloists. The duet is played with very original variations, and an encore is demanded by the enthusiastic audience. Mr. Zinc and Mr. Pike become slightly confused, and, in responding to the encore, start different tunes, but get together after a struggle, Mr. Zinc having decidedly the best of the argument. A second encore is demanded and responded to with even more trouble than the first.” The artists are identified as Henry Higgins and Arthur Pryor in the Nov. 16, 1898 Record Catalog.
