From Brunswick recording sheet: "Rehearsal - 18 men (2 hrs); Broadcasting - (18 men) 1 hr."
Laird: "The recording sheet states: 'Violin obligato' and 'Eng. horn used'. No other details known."
The session is one of 14 identified by Brunswick as "Broadcasting." Laird notes that the entries are believed to indicate studio use for live broadcasts of a series of radio programs titled the "Brunswick hour of music." The studio orchestra was used to accompany featured vocalists and perform instrumental selections.
