Noted in Laird: "The recording sheet is headed 'Carnegie Hall.'" Other Brunswick documentation notes that the recording took place in room 2 of Brunswick's New York City offices. It is believed, but not confirmed, that the orchestra played in Carnegie Hall and the signal was carried by telephone wire to Brunswick studios for recording.
