Laird: "The announcer is Carl Haviland, and all the artists on the recording were associated with KFI at this time. It is probably that this disc was used as a promotional item for station KFI, Los Angeles, which was opened on April 6, 1922 (making it among the earliest radio stations to be operating on the West Coast)."
