| Laird: "While no recording sheets seem to have survived for the following block of masters, and the LAE prefixes would suggest they are Los Angeles recordings, it has definitely been established from contemporary press reports that a Brunswick field trip was made to Honolulu in the first week of March, 1928 and that on completion of the recordings the Brunswick engineers "sailed yesterday [March 9, 1928] on the City of Los Angeles.'" |
