| Victor ledgers for take 1 are missing; the recording date is from EDVR legacy data, but it is not known if take 1 is an original recording or a dub. Legacy data also state that the selection was made for Latin America and that take 2 is used for issue XA-4 (“Ladra Nipperito” [i.e., "Nipper barks"). |
| In their book, Nipper collectibles, Joan & Robin Rolfs state that issue XA-4 was made for use with the RCA Victor “Magic Demonstrator,” a 40-inch store model of Victor’s trademark dog, “Nipper,” that had a speaker mounted in the its head. |
