Announced by Spencer. From the catalog: "Some of you boys is got to dance with Samanthy Simpkins; Samanthy ain't pretty, but she's nice, I tell you.' Reuben gets this prize. Orchestra plays the country dance, figures called, 'All hands around,' etc. After the dance all are invited to the old homestead to have cider and some hot ginger bread.”
