Pruter-Campbell-Nowakowski-Kelly 2018 notes that the original of this 1948 reissue was recorded in 1929 (Paramount 21544-3), and adds to the label's credits (Charlie Spand , Will Ezell, Alex Hill): Georgia Tom Dorsey - piano, Papa Charlie Jackson - banjo, vocal, Blind Lemon Jefferson - guitar, Arthur "Blind" Blake - guitar, speech - altogether as "The Hokum Boys."
