Notes
Victor ledgers: "Union musicians used"; "Mr. W. Heebner, present"; "Contractor: David Klein."
Victor ledgers for 10/23/1947 indicate that take 1 was originally recorded without vocals, which were to be overdubbed later. The ledger from 12/30/1947 also mentions that in addition to tracking the overdub, Tony Martin and Earle Hagen and his Orchestra also re-recorded the song again from scratch. It is never specified whether the overdubbed recording or the live remake was used for the master take.
