Victor ledgers include these notes on the page marked 1/26/1917: "Caracas. No Date this AM: T. went to the country for harp player to acc. singers of yesterdays date- for this. Could not get Harp player, because player wanted a job himself to put in this particular style. Engagement made.
Yesterdays singers came this PM for date but they did not come along well and when dealer failed to guarantee orders to cover record costs, date was canceled.
