Source(s): John Bolig files (Gramophone issues); Rigler-Deutsch Index; Victor ledgers.
Victor ledgers: "Approximately 1200 voices."
ADP editors have transcribed recording locations from Victor ledgers verbatim. It is highly unlikely that the takes were recorded in two different places on one day. The editors believe that all performances took place at the 71st Regiment Armory, but that the takes marked Bell Laboratory were relayed by wire to the Laboratory for recording there.
