(Ohio) newsletter, "The Sohionan," of July 1932 notes that the company "has developed a movie showing the evil doings of the dangerous character, 'Friction,' and his subsequent end which is brought about by the concentrated and intelligent attack of the combined forces of the great Sohioan army."

Ledgers: "Audible." The soundtrack for the reel includes dialogue and/or closely synchronized sound.
Use of "Western Electric system" noted in Victor ledgers.
