Charles Edison
Charles Edison (August 3, 1890 – July 31, 1969) was an American politician. He was the Assistant and then United States Secretary of the Navy, and served as the 42nd governor of New Jersey. Commonly known as "Lord Edison", he was a son of the inventor Thomas Edison and Mina Miller Edison. Edison was an associate of the John Birch Society, serving as a member of its editorial advisory committee for its publication, American Opinion. |
