Notes: Born app. 1862, died 1906. Full name Reuben R. Brooks. Performed with fellow banjo player Harry M. Denton in a vaudeville act known as Brooks and Denton. They also formed the Brooks and Denton Publishing Company and collaborated as songwriters. They were banjo teachers and they performed for royalty worldwide.
