This master derives from an instantaneous disc believed to have been recorded in Cuba. Victor ledgers available to the ADP list only a re-recording of the master. It was made in Victor's Studio 6 in New York, New York on 7/2/1946.
A note on the Victor blue history card dated 6/4/1948 states that this recording "is doubled with 83994-B [i.e., CU-974, "No vale la pen" by the Orquesta Casino de la Playa] for Arthur Murray Dance Studios."
