Notes
Source(s): Victor blue history card; trade catalog; disc.
The matrix number is not confirmed. A Victor blue history card notes that MBS-015335 is the master for Vi 75809 [“Dime que sí,” performed by Pedro Vargas]. However, the Vi 75809 disc label references master number 015352. A second BHC indicates that MBS-015352 is the master for a different performance of “Dime que si,” performed by Marimba Guatemalteca “Los Chatos” and issued on Vi 75843. It is not known if the error is on the disc label or the BHCs.
Victor ledgers documenting this recording are believed to be lost. The Victor blue history card indicates that the master disc was "passed" (approved) on 10/5/1938.
